Scenic Estates has been a Firewise Community since 2003, one of the first in the state. Scenic Estates chipping is funded by a WAFAC grant (thank you LIFD!). And we were also awarded a Washington Firewise USA grant to work in partnership with the Heritage Trust to remove Scotch Broom.
