Sculpture Woods

Sculpture Woods is not open to the general public, except on the first Saturday of every month from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.

With myth and metaphor, Ann Morris' sculpture speaks of the relationship between Nature and humankind. Art and Nature converge on 15 acres of Northwest forest which surround her studio and are home to figurative bronzes set in a wild quiet.

In 2017 Ann Morris and her son Brook Morris and daughter Clea Costa Van Voorhis generously gifted the Sculpture Woods grounds and Studio to the Western Washington University Foundation for use by the WWU College of Fine and Performing Arts. Sculpture Woods is used as an active learning and collaborative space, complementary to the spirit of the property Ann created while also supportive of the mission of the university. Western also intends to use the property for visiting artists, special events such as art viewings and recitals, and other small events as appropriate.

Sculpture Woods is not an extension of the WWU campus and is no longer be available by appointment.
