David Post Sings Live for L.I.F.E.

Donations for the July 12 performance was over $500. Funds will go to Lummi Island Foundation for Education (L.I.F.E.) to sustain and enhance education at Beach School and for children on Lummi Island. L.I.F.E. will also donate a portion of the funds raised to support Beach School PTO’s Theater Camp 2016.
David has been performing throughout Europe and is an amazing talent. David is also returning to Lummi for his third year as Director of the Beach School PTO’s Lummi Island Summer Theater Camp.
David is Artistic Director of Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth (BAAY), and conductor of Bellingham Children’s Choir, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music and a Masters degree in Choral Conducting from Northern Arizona University. This summer, David took his choir to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall; two of our community’s children were part of this amazing experience.
The Great American Songbook, also known as American Standards, is the canon of the most important and influential American popular songs and jazz standards from the early 20th century. It includes the most popular and enduring songs from the 1920s to the 1950s that were created for Broadway theater, musical theater, and Hollywood musical film.
