Donate the Difference in March

During the entire month of March, round up contributions at both Community Food Co-op locations will go to Lummi Island Foundation for Education (L.I.F.E.). Just ask your cashier to "Donate the Difference" and round up your purchase amount at the register. Five cents or five dollars, round up as high as you wish.

2% of sales on March 19

On Saturday, March 19, 2% of all Co-op sales will also go to L.I.F.E.

L.I.F.E. is committed to supporting the educational goals and objectives of the Beach Elementary School students, faculty, staff, Parent Teacher Organization, and the Lummi Island community. With L.I.F.E.’s financial support, Beach School has now earned the International Baccalaureate (IB) authorization for the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Every year the Co-op Board of Directors selects 12 community organizations to receive a Community Shopping Day. Selected organizations receive 2% of one day’s sales, all register donations made during the month through the Donate the Difference program, and have the opportunity to educate shoppers about their programs in the Co-op newsletter and with in-store displays.
